2. Website and hosting

Our website is hosted by Vercel. When you access it, the hosting service receives technical connection data such as your IP address, access time, requested page, and browser information. This processing is necessary to deliver, securely operate, and troubleshoot the website.

The public website currently offers no learning account, payment process, or recording or assessment of your voice by an AI service.

3. Optional waiting list through Google Forms

Joining the waiting list is free and carries no commitment. Registration takes place in an external Google Form asking for your title, first name, last name, email address, and postcode. We use the submitted details to record your interest and inform you when langfred launches. This does not create a paid subscription or learning account.

The form is linked from our website and is not embedded. Google Forms opens only when you follow the link. Google’s privacy information also applies there. Google may process technical usage data when you open the form; an existing Google account sign-in may affect your experience. The form’s settings do not replace Google’s privacy information.

You can tell us at any time that you no longer wish to receive launch information and request deletion of your waiting list details. Please use the contact option above.

4. Enquiries

When you contact us, we process your contact details and enquiry to respond. The linked contact form is hosted on altertainment.ch, whose privacy information also applies. Please do not send exam documents or sensitive personal data that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

5. No website analytics

This website loads no analytics services and stores no new analytics identifiers or cookie preferences. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and PostHog were removed on 22 September 2026. Analytics data previously submitted with consent is not automatically deleted by this removal and remains subject to the respective retention settings. Contact us with any questions.

6. Recipients and processing abroad

Vercel processes data for hosting. If you open the external waiting list, Google processes data there. Using international providers may involve processing outside Switzerland, particularly in the EU and the USA.

Each provider’s information explains its international data processing. Contact us with questions about recipients, processing locations, or safeguards for your data.

7. Retention

Retention depends on the relevant purpose, handling of your enquiry, and any legal obligations. Waiting list details are needed for launch information; you may withdraw your registration at any time.

Retention periods for hosting logs and previously submitted analytics data also depend on the services and their settings. Use our contact option to ask about your stored data and its retention.

8. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Where legal conditions are met, you also have rights to restriction, objection, and data disclosure or portability. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future.

Contact us above to exercise these rights. You may also contact the competent data protection authority, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Where the GDPR applies, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

9. Legal bases and changes

We comply with applicable Swiss data protection law. Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, requested launch information is based on your consent, responses to contract-related enquiries on pre-contractual measures, and secure technical operation on our legitimate interest. Legal obligations remain reserved.

We update this policy when the service or data processing changes. Before introducing learning accounts, payment features, or processing of voice recordings, we will explain the relevant data processing. The current version bears the date above.
